Who comes to Body Beautiful Boot Camp?

Our clients, with no age limit come to us from around the world and for many reasons. However the most popular reasons are fitness and weight loss, therefore a week with us will be the most rewarding of your life and you will see amazing results.

How do we get there and at what time?

All meeting times and transport information will be given to you in your confirmation letter upon booking.

What time do we start on the first day and finish on the last day?

Training will start in the afternoon of the first day and then on the last day finish around noon after the mornings training session and weigh in.

Am I fit enough / too over weight?

We take all levels of fitness and weights. You will be working to your own full capacity as opposed to trying to keep up with the fittest or being slowed down by the weakest. We also have to ensure that we do not take any clients that could even have the potential of leaving UNDER weight.

Please note you will be pushed to your limit.

All potential clients will be required to have the Medical Questionnaire sanctioned by their GP.

Is our fitness assessed when we arrive?

Your fitness will be assessed by our trainers at the beginning of Body Beautiful Boot Camp.

If I am Diabetic can I attend?

It is recommended that carbohydrates are the majority source of dietary intake for a person with type I and type II diabetes. This is to maintain energy levels and help regulate insulin levels. The diet we adhere to has very little carbohydrate content. For a person with diabetes, this would mean that your blood sugar levels would constantly be lower than normal. Although physical activity is recommended to help control diabetes, it needs to be a controlled amount closely linked to the dietary intake. Aerobic exercise lowers blood sugar levels, and with resistance training, although an increase is seen to start with a dramatic drop can be seen post exercise. The intense physical activity included in the programme could cause problems to those with diabetes. With the increase in activity compared to normal – more carbohydrates will be needed in the diet to regulate blood sugar levels. Therefore, there would be an increased risk of hypoglycaemia. This would mean that a form of glucose would be needed on regular occasions to prevent this which is not available on the new you boot camp eating plan.

We can adapt the diet if you are looking to come for fitness rather than weight loss but this would need to be discussed and agreed prior to your attendance.

What if I’m a vegetarian?

If you have any dietary requirements at all, whether they are on religious or moral grounds, please let us know at the time of booking and we will endeavour to accommodate them. Also if you have any allergies or intolerances then it is very important that you advise us of this when booking, and also the level of severity.

Will I go hungry?

You won’t be hungry! We don’t believe in starvation diets. Ultimately they are a very unhealthy way for you to lose weight. We have put together a daily menu that is balanced, healthy and nutritious giving you the strength to commit 100% to your training. Also because you’ll be avoiding wheat, dairy and other stimulants during the week, it will allow your body to detoxify at the same time.

Will there be a nutritionist at Body Beautiful Boot Camp?

Each of our boot camps will have one of our nutritionists attend. They will be there to help educate you on healthy eating and the logic/science behind the nutrition plan.

What do I need to bring?

We’ll supply a full kit list when you book and it will be dependent on the time of year. Make sure you bring any medicines you may require and your usual toiletries.

Can I bring my mobile phone/laptop?

Yes, but it should be kept in your room and only used in your own time in the evenings.

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by whichever method suits you best. Cheque, bank transfer, Paypal. Upon booking we’ll require a £250 deposit of which £50 will be non-refundable, with the remainder to be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to your arrival date.

What is your cancellations policy?

Should you wish to cancel, cancellation charges will be imposed. However, we do appreciate that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise and as long as we can fill your place then we will move your booking to the next mutually available date. However, we do advise that you take out insurance which we can handle for you if required using C.R. Toogoods (see useful links)

Can I smoke?

We recommend that you try and cut down as much as possible prior to attending. When you stop smoking your lung capacity increases very quickly and you’ll find that exercise is easier as a result. We do understand that sometimes it’s difficult to give up completely. And whilst we do not allow smoking in the accommodations, we do have a designated smoking area.

Do I have to come for a full 5 or 7 days?

Yes. The program is structured so that you’ll achieve the maximum results possible, in the shortest time possible. To achieve this, you need to attend for 7 consecutive days and participate in the full program.

Will I share with a stranger if I’m coming on my own?

The majority of our clients share rooms with clients they have never met before, whilst other clients share rooms with friends that are attending the week with them. Some clients opt for a room on their own and pay the surcharge. It is entirely down to personal preference.

Will I need to bring or supply any exercise equipment?

We will supply all exercise equipment but we do not supply any personal clothing equipment.

What results can I realistically expect to see?

Whilst you could drop a dress size everybody’s weight and inch loss will depend on their height, weight, BMI and how physically active they are already. But we can guarantee by the end of your week at Body Beautiful Boot Camp you will be slimmer and significantly fitter. You’ll also leave with an unbreakable confidence and a level of self esteem you’ve never experienced before.

The level of effort that you put in is exactly what you can expect to get out: 100% effort = 100% results!
